In these Terms & Conditions, “we”/”us” means Stony Dry Cleaners and “you” means you – our very important customer.

– Payment needs to be made to us in full before we can release items back to you

You will be given a till ticket. Check the ticket order as count and description is final.
We will require a completed and signed Customer Consent Form to authorise the processing of any item that we consider a risk. We also request this form to be completed for processing – curtains, rugs, leather and suede, wedding/ beaded/evening dresses, and or other household or non-clothing items.
Lost tickets will require ID, and you will need to sign for the order collected.
Check your order is complete in the shop-no liability for missing items once you leave.
Uncollected items may be disposed of after 90 days. We will not be held liable for any loss that you may suffer in such an event.

Please note that adhesives, defects and faults which were previously camouflaged in manufacture may become more apparent after the cleaning process, and although every care is taken, we cannot always disguise natural flaws or totally remove adhesives, or stretching techniques employed by the manufacturer. These items may “age” after cleaning. All items are therefore only accepted by us for cleaning at your own risk.

losses caused or failure to clean by any process selected and applied in good

o Furthermore, “we” acknowledges that while
striving for excellence, a 100% spotless dress may not always be achievable in
every situation. Approximately 95% of the dresses cleaned by “us” are typically
returned in a 100% spotless condition, with the remaining 5% being virtually
spotless, typically with remaining stains on the inside of the gown.
o “we” aim to remove all marks and stains from
every wedding dress, but this commitment is subject to the owner’s risk. The
cleaning method is carefully selected based on the fabric type and dress
construction, with utmost care to preserve the dress’s fabric. In the absence
of specific cleaning instructions, the gentlest cleaning method is employed,
although this approach carries inherent risk at the owner’s discretion.
o If an owner is dissatisfied with the cleaning
results, “we” welcome discussions to address concerns and explain the cleaning
o Due to the delicate fabrics used in wedding
dress construction, slight changes in appearance after cleaning may occur. “we”
employs the best and most careful cleaning procedures and solutions to minimize
o For dyed wedding dresses, such as Ivory or
Champagne, there is a possibility of the dye lightening during the cleaning
process. Although efforts are made to mitigate this effect, it remains a
potential outcome that does not alter the dress’s overall appearance
o “we” does not accept responsibility for any
damage or loss to buttons, beading, diamantes, or similar embellishments during
the cleaning process. However, every effort is made to minimize this risk
